Flip phones used to be a pretty popular form factor back during the days of the feature phone, but interestingly enough that form factor has decided to make its way into the smartphone era, with companies such as Sharp and Samsung releasing Android phones in said design. We guess there has to be a market for it for these companies to consider investing into such a product and you might have heard that Samsung had a flip phone in the works with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset. Well the rumors have proven to be true as Samsung has announced the W2014, the world's first flip phone that runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset under the hood.
