A new Sony Ericsson Android-powered smartphone has leaked ahead of a possible official unveiling during CES this week. The Sony Ericsson MT27i has the codename Pepper and looks like it's going to be the successor to the Xperia Neo V (which, in turn, was the oddly downgraded successor to the original Xperia Neo). The Pepper keeps the Neo and Neo V's 3.7-inch 854×480 touchscreen, but will have a dual-core 1 GHz processor, and a new design reminiscent of that seen on the Nozomi. The Pepper will also get a 5 MP camera with 720p HD video recording, LED flash, and noise-suppressing mic.
