Just yesterday we reported that future CyanogenMod builds will come with the Privacy Guard feature. Initially known as Incognito Mode for Apps, Privacy Guard safeguards the user's data from apps, it even spoofs an app to believe that GPS has been disabled. Koushik Dutta of CyanogenMode team is now working on a new plugin that will bring secure, device to device push messaging to those Android devices that run this popular custom ROM. It is currently a work in progress, and it is not known when this plugin will be added to future CyanogenMod ROMs.
