We do not expect Apple to announce the high definition television it is widely rumored to be working on during the annual Worldwide Developer Conference later today, however the Cupertino-based company could begin to lay the groundwork for the device. BGR reported last month that Apple may demonstrate a new version of its TV operating system during its WWDC keynote, and the company is expected to finally allow third-party developers and manufacturers to develop solutions for its Apple TV set-top box. Such a move could be made in part to ensure that a variety of third-party apps are available ahead of its HDTV launch.
