Galaxy Note II owners are currently waiting for Samsung to roll out an official Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for their device - but they probably shouldn't. According to Telstra, Australia's largest mobile carrier, Samsung has decided to "globally to skip the 4.2.2 update for this device and will instead go to a newer version of Android. No schedule has been provided for this update.".
The next version of Android is almost certainly 4.3 (still Jelly Bean), so that's what the Note II should receive. Needless to say, this is good news.
