Apple's event for the iPhone 4S was held in October last year, and as the date approaches we continue to see more rumors each day, some being more realistic than others. Today, iMore has heard from its sources that Apple is preparing an event for September 12th, and although iMore is pretty new to the rumor game, AllThingsD has also confirmed the same time frame for an event. iMore also mentioned that a release would follow on the week of September 21st.
