Given that the Nokia N9 is Nokia's first and last MeeGo attempt, we have to wonder how the MeeGo's successor, Tizen, will fare. In any case for those who might have been interested in the development of Tizen, the good news is that version 1.0 of the software developer kit (SDK) has been released. The release has been given the codename Larkspur and for those curious, you will be able to take it for a test drive on either a Windows or Ubuntu Linux computer. Details about the release and the download can be find at its website.
For those unfamiliar, Tizen is essentially the "successor" (if it can be called that) to MeeGo.
Ubergizmo, Tizen 1.0 SDK has been released
