Subaru to show off EyeSight collision prevention system

Technology can be used to improve our lives in a multitude of ways, and making driving safer is one of those things. Japanese automaker, Subaru has developed a new system that does just that. Called EyeSight, it consists of two cameras that are used to monitor what is in front of the car. EyeSight uses stereo processing to determine the distance of other cars or objects ahead, and lane lines on the road. With this information, EyeSight can help prevent accidents by automatically braking the vehicle when it is about to collide with another car, pedestrian or object.
