As gamers might have heard by now, the mysterious Fallout 4 website turned out to be a hoax and an elaborate prank. On the surface it might seem that the creator of the website might simply be trolling the gaming community simply because he could, but as it turns out his intentions while a little mean, were somewhat good as the goal of the fake website was to force Bethesda's hand into revealing something about the franchise, such as to either deny that it was being worked on flat out, or to reveal that they have nothing to announce yet, which is good news as it could mean that the game is in development.
