DROID RAZR and RAZR MAXX get stocked OTA software update

Verizon is seeding an update to its DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX smartphones. The new release offers quite a lot of improvements, new features and bugfixes, but sadly isn't the Ice Cream Sandwich update everyone is waiting for. The update will get you up to software version 6.12.181 and it is already being pushed to said devices - if you don't want to wait you might check out the Software update entry in the settings menu to update manually.
The key ares that were improved include text message delivery, 4G data connectivity indicator, enhanced device security against unauthorized access, enhance battery life and overall stability.
