Hot on the heels of Audi's official announcement that it had acquired the Ducati brand from Investindustrial Group, AMG, the in-house performance arm of German automaker Mercedes-Benz, has ended its "marketing cooperation" with the storied Italian motorcycle brand. Naturally, Mercedes-Benz doesn't want to sponsor Ducati now that it's been taken over by, in its own words, "a rival car manufacturer."
