A couple of days ago, Apple announced iOS 6 at WWDC. The good news for many iOS users was that iOS 6 would be compatible for the majority of iOS devices. This included the iPhone 3GS which is about 3 years old now. The only devices left out of the fun were the first-gen iPad, the original iPhone and iPhone 3G, and iPod touch models older than the fourth-gen.
