B&H Photo has begun taking pre-orders for the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ70 digital camera. This bridge-style digital camera can be yours for $399 and will begin shipping from August 30th. Specs-wise, the Lumix DMC-FZ70 sports a 16.1MP 1x2.3″ BSI MOS sensor, a Lumix DC Vario 60x optical zoom lens, a 3.0″ 460K-dot LCD monitor, a 0.20″ 202K-dot electronic viewfinder, a Venus Engine image processor, a built-in windshield zoom microphone, an HDMI output port and Full HD 1080i AVCHD video capture at 60fps.
