It appears that AT&T wants to clear out it iPhone inventory before Apple releases the successor quite possibly in the next couple of months. CNET reports that AT&T has started a new promo online in which it is offering $200 off to subscribers who are not eligible for a subsidized upgrade. The $200 concession is being provided on the full retail price of the device, which means that subscribers who go for this promo will pay $450 for a new 16GB iPhone 5 as opposed to $650. The 32GB and 64GB iPhone 5 will be available in this promo for $550 and $650 respectively.
