Gmail Android App Update Brings Back Delete Button

Gmail Android App Update Brings Back Delete Button

A new update of the Gmail app for Android has been rolled out, bringing the version number up to 4.5.2. By “popular demand” of the users, they've brought back the delete button as the default setting which shows up after a user long-presses an e-mail. In the previous update, which was actually a substantially revised version of the app, the default option was set to Archive. To bring back the Trash icon, users had to go in the app's general settings to select “Show delete only” from the Archive & delete actions menu.
