Qualcomm reportedly invests $120 million into Sharp

For those who have been diligently following the news, you might have heard that Sharp could have run into some financial trouble, and according to the rumors, companies like Foxconn, Apple and Intel might be interested in investing in the company not only to keep it afloat, but for some of its technologies, such as IGZO which has been rumored in the past to be used by some of Apple's products. As it turns out according to a report by the Wall Street Journal, Sharp's savior has come in the form of Qualcomm who reportedly has agreed to invest $120 million into the ailing Japanese company.
