It has been a few months since Android Market surpassed the 300,000 app milestone, and now it looks like it has reached a new high. According to the folks over at Distimo, the Android Market is now sitting tight over 400,000 apps to boot. While it's not the 500,000 reported for Apple's App Store, it is still a significant number and shows that Android is starting to close the gap between the two. Not to mention its next closest rival, the Windows Marketplace has still got a long way to go.
